Project 993 “Tic Tac” – a bespoke 1995 Carrera coupe built by TuneRS Motorsports.
This vehicle was built and completed by TuneRS in 2019 and has remained with the current owner since completion.
Before tearing down the vehicle to begin, we started with our CryoDetail(R) dry ice cleaning process. This allows us to remove all debris, grease, grime, anything that has attached itself to the underside of the vehicle since it first hit the road. Once we perform this, we are able to see and have a better understanding of what components may need replacement or corrections. It also provides us with a beautiful undercarriage and reduces the amount of man hours needed to disassemble everything to clean. See more at www.cryodetail.com
Exterior: The exterior of the vehicle is the original narrow body 95′ Carrera 2 coupe. Originally painted in silver, it had seen better days but was in overall good condition. The color chosen was a 70’s Gulf Orange and a few other aesthetics such as RS splitter, side rockers and a classic duck-tail. Doors, hood, rear deck lid and all glass removed were removed so a complete color change could be done properly. The undercarriage was first prepped and painted after front and rear assemblies were removed in order to apply the Gulf orange paint underneath. Once the undercarriage was complete, it was re-assembled and the vehicle sent to the body shop for exterior prep work and paintwork.
