You are looking at a very rare, limited production 996 Turbo S Cabriolet! This triple black Turbo S boasts as many of the factory options you can pick and is in fantastic condition. It has lived it’s life between California and Florida (where it currently resides) and is exceptionally clean top to bottom. Roughly 1,500 examples of 996 Turbo S (couples & cabriolets combined) were produced world wide by Porsche.
This Turbo S has been very well maintained throughout it’s life and shows no signs of abuse. It has a clean carfax record and clean Florida title. All recent service, including major service (spark plugs, coils, drive belt, brake fluid, oil & filter, air filter, cabin filter) have been performed and a set of Michelin Pilot tires have been fitted. Convertible top is in great shape and functions normally. All interior power equipment is functioning and no known defects are present. This Turbo drives beautifully with plenty of power to get you into trouble!
The Turbo S features a twin turbo flat six 3.6L producing 450hp coupled with a stronger 6 speed manual transmission and reaching a top speed of nearly 190mph. The X50 package was a standard feature found on Turbo S models but not on the normal Turbo models. This package increased power by fitting larger turbos, larger intercoolers, a re-mapped ECU, GT2/GT3 oil pump and a GT2 exhaust system with quad tips. Essentially pushing the limits further from your standard Turbo model.
