You are looking at an exceptionally clean and well-maintained 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet. This 996 model 911 C4 has resided in Florida it’s entire life and is a current 3 owner vehicle. This is one of 3,870 Carrera 4 Cabriolet’s produced for model year 2002 by Porsche. Only 2002 and 2003 model years for 996 had Basalt Black Metallic as a color option when ordering.
It’s a non-smoker, garage kept vehicle with a lot of great options. This vehicle has always been serviced by a Porsche dealer in Florida and also TuneRS Motorsports (independent center for Porsche). The exterior paint is Basalt Black Metallic and looks incredible. There are some few minor rock chips from over the years but no major scratches, dings or dents anywhere. The paint is in fantastic shape and stuns in the sunlight. The original 18″ Carrera wheels (in silver) show no signs of curb rash or damage and are wrapped in Continental rubber with a DOT date of 2019 with plenty of meat left for the next owner to enjoy. The headlights are Bi-Xenon with integrated headlight washers (part of Advanced Technic Package) and are in great condition.
The interior is in great shape as well. It is an all black leather interior (including dashboard, seats, door panels) all of which reflect zero abuse or neglect. The interior features the original CDR220 radio, 6 CD changer and with factory Bose speaker system (part of the Advanced Technic Package). All of the interior functions work correctly with no known current defects or issues. The seats are full power and heated (both driver and passenger).
Power is sent to the rear wheels by the original M96 3.6L flat six water cooled engine, paired with the original 6 speed manual gearbox putting out 320hp and 278lb-ft torque.
It had recent major service performed, including: IMS bearing Direct Oil Feed (DOF), new clutch, rear main seal, oil & filter service, engine air filter, cabin air filter, engine drive belt, two new engine mounts, new coolant expansion tank, new water pump and low temperature thermostat, brake fluid system flush and new convertible top hydraulic cylinders. The convertible top canvas was replaced in early 2021 with a German black canvas and glass window.
